Delete your account

You can delete your Heya Hop account at any time. Here is how, and what happens to your data.

1. In the app

Open Settings > Account > Delete account, then confirm.

2. By email

Can't open the app? Email [email protected] from the address registered to your account and ask us to delete it. We reply within 14 days, and we may ask you to confirm the request so no one else can delete your account.

3. What is deleted

Your profile, display name and HOP code
Your rooms and room snapshots
Your avatar and outfits
Your inventory and wallet, including coins and gems you have not used

4. What we keep

An anonymized record of wallet transactions and purchases, kept only as long as the law requires, for example for tax and accounting. These records are no longer linked to your profile.

5. When it happens

Deletion from the app starts right away. Removing your data from all of our systems and backups can take up to 30 days. Purchases made through the App Store or Google Play stay in your store account history.
